DIG 2500: mmI - Multimedia Authoring I
- Build an effective informational, navigational and interactive multimedia GUI (Graphic User Interface).
- In the process of creating a GUI (Graphic User Interface), learn a software tool, basic messaging and code behaviors, the interface, tools, techniques, and interactive design techniques.
- Design and construct multimedia presentation materials for a range of electronic media.
- Create, arrange and manage audio, video, animation, graphics, typographic, and photographic sources to create effective informational, navigational, and interactive syntax.
- While ADOBE Flash software is used, this is a PATHTM and STORY class focused most on D3SIGNTM.
- This course is focused on acontent driven project.
- Experience is gained by achieving an artistic, visually stimulating end result
- Project: Plan to create an 8 page (minimum) interactive presentation, layout screens, provide interactivity and clever but intuitive navigation.
- Incorporate a professional, original look and feel, button appearance and navigation to and from each page.
- The user must be able to consistently and readily return to the main or "home" screen from anywhere.
- Each page must incorporate at minimum:
- 3 photographs
- 3 illustrated elements
- 3 text styles (includes at minimum for each page photographic captions, main title content and body copy and consistent button text).
