- Pick ANY subject, topic or audience.
- Read the packet provided in the lab today entitled "PGY 1115 Multi-Media Component Color Materials and Processes".
- Read in detail the description for assignment 1 (the PROPOSAL or SOW as I call it) We will discuss next week..
- Be familiar with the description for assignemt 2 (the overall project) This Project will be due in the weeks to come.
- See STORY section just below.
- While we use FCE (Final Cut Express) as a tool, this is NOT an FCE class; the software is a tool used to build a video-based, stop-motion project, it is no different than a hammer being used in a class on builidng construction.
- This is a PROCESS and a STORY development class.
- The project is to create a 1 minute Quicktime *.MOV video with audio (voice over, bed music and sound effects).
- Write, direct, shoot, edit and produce "stop motion". (See "Oren Lavie's 'Her Morning Elegance'" on YouTube)
- The final production should be documentary in style with an artistic and entertaining aspect.
- Consider the end product or piece to be a linear stream of stills, compiled, edited and used to create STORY.

- Grass Is Greener SCRIPT
- And for example... combining a SCRIPT and STORY board down the road, we'll discuss something like the next document listed here (NOT due at this time, but to be created later in class) It's a hybrid STORY and SCRIPT.
