Please be advised that this course meets weekly during the semester and lack of promptness and regular attendance may put a student in an unfavorable position when it comes to keeping up with class discussions, special instructions given during class lectures and information needed to successfully pass exams. Therefore it is strongly suggested that you consider your obligations and time commitments in order to maintain regular attendance.
I acknowledge, understand and agree that punctuality and regular attendance is a requirement for satisfactory participation in this class. I understand and agree that tardiness and poor attendance as outlined in the course syllabus will have an adverse affect on my final grade. I understand and agree that if I miss a class for any reason, I am solely responsible for whatever information I missed. I further understand and agree that the instructor is not obligated to review or cover information I may have missed as a result of my absence.
I understand and agree that the instructor teaching this class is authorized to use
his or her assessment of my attendance, punctuality and level of participation in determining my mid-term and final grade.
I understand and agree that if I have a question or concern about my status in the class, I will notify the instructor and exhaust all of the established informal procedures as outlined in the most recent ATC and DBCC Student Handbook.
I understand that I have the option to choose another section of this course if I decide not to comply with all requirements of this course.
